Problem:

The client was struggling to manage multiple social media projects simultaneously. Tasks were scattered, deadlines were unclear, and there was no centralized system to track project progress. This lack of organization made it difficult to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and maintain a consistent posting schedule.

Solution:

I implemented a comprehensive project management system in Notion to streamline social media planning. This included:

• Separate Databases: Created a Projects database (Project Alpha, Beta, Gamma) and a Tasks database with deadlines and statuses.

• Database Relationships: Linked tasks to their respective projects and added a roll-up column in the Projects database to track the number of tasks per project.

• Calendar View: Developed a linked calendar view of the Tasks database to visualize all deadlines, ensuring timely content delivery.

• Kanban Board: Added a linked Kanban board view to track task status (e.g., To-Do, In Progress, Completed).

• Enhanced Productivity Layout: Organized the Notion page with clear sections, color-coded projects, and visually distinct task views to boost usability and client efficiency.

Results:

The client now has a fully organized, visually intuitive system to manage their social media projects. Deadlines are clearly visible, task progress is easy to monitor, and the Kanban board provides a quick overview of ongoing work. As a result, the client experienced improved efficiency, reduced stress, and a more consistent and strategic approach to social media posting.
